I'm so glad doilies have made a comeback in the world of weddings. They're such a pretty detail, and there's something rather nostalgic about them. As I kid, I always thought they were so fancy, and whenever I saw them, I got pretty excited because that meant there was something special to eat. At one point, I even collected them, butter grease stained and all, along with crumpled up foil candy wrappers. A precursor to Tulle Box Designs, perhaps?
For this project, I cut out the center of a doily and used it to frame this fun tea stamp (yes, I love tea). So happy with the final product - it has a beautiful 'handmade with love' quality.
