So so excited to have our DIY featured on Ruffled Blog! Click here for the feature, and read on for more details on this Print it Yourself Love Notes Favour Box.

The wedding invitation store I worked at during college used to print their own custom work. Whenever they printed something small, like the RSVP card, they would stick it onto an 8.5" x 11" paper with a Post-it note before running it through the printer. It was genius. Because I don't know about you, but trying to print on irregular size paper, with all the adjusting/readjusting of the printer settings, only to have inconsistent results, is suuuuuuuper frustrating.

So, I thought I'd revisit that amazing printer trick for a DIY project and it worked out beautifully.

First, I picked one of my favourite poems, Elizabeth Barrett Browning's famous Sonnet 43, "How do I love thee? Let me count the ways..". Then, I filled a full page in Word with the copy, put a piece of double-sided tape onto the back of a favour box, stuck it onto an 8.5" x 11" printer sheet, and ran it through the printer. Click here for the full DIY tutorial.

I love that you can pick any copy you want, print it yourself, and the look is totally custom.

Thank you so much to Celsia Florist for the GORGEOUS florals. Just look how beautiful that bouquet is!
