Navy is timeless, pink is girly, and together, perfectly preppy (especially when stripes are thrown into the mix). This colour combination reminds me of the New England weddings featured in the early issues of Martha Stewart Weddings.
This double bow is amazingly easy to make. In fact, it's a 'faux' bow because there is no actual bow tying. Click here for the tutorial.
To make the stripes, I set the page settings in PowerPoint to 8.5"x 11", filled a page with blue lines, and printed it directly onto the favour box using this printer trick.
