Gift your friends with bookmarks that have a little twinkle on them. A hole punch ensures that the dots are uniform each time, and if you have a craft punch you love, this technique works perfectly with it too.
- paper cutter
- 8.5" x 11" cardstock
- double-sided tape
- 1/8" hole punch (or larger for larger dots)
- bone folder
Step 1 – Place paper in the paper cutter vertically and cut a 1.5” strip.
Step 2 – Place the strip into the paper cutter horizontally and, using the bone folder, score at the 5.5” mark.
Step 3 - Fold strip in half.
Step 4 – Punch holes all over one half of the paper, leaving a little room at the top for the ribbon.
Step 5 – Completely cover the half with the holes with double sided tape.
Step 6 – Fold the paper in half again and press down. Sprinkle glitter over the holes. Dust off excess.
Step 7 – Punch a hole at the top of the bookmark. Fold ribbon in half, string through hole and pull the ribbon tails through the loop.
